FAB Woman Making History: Major General Marcia Anderson

9 Feb

Meet Major General Marcia Anderson, the highest ranking FAB Woman in the Army.

She joined ROTC in college as a way to fill the ‘science’ requirement, not because she had dreams of a military career. However, she came to enjoy the challenges and tests (physical, mental and emotional) that being a part of the military trains you for.

Fortunately, she stuck with it and in 2011 was promoted Major General, the first for an African American woman. We salute her!
