Please get into her. This is how you do a red carpet, FAB Ones.

Amber Riley is a FAB Girl favorite. She’s gotten seriously glamorous lately, and her hair and makeup are always on point. She’s awesome as Mercedes on Glee, but her best role is herself on the red carpet!

This photo is from The NAACP Image awards, where she showed up slimmed down and glammed up. Her hair, makeup and dress all get a stamp of approval for prom. Take the jump for gowns inspired by this young diva.

FAB Beauty: Natural Makeup Part 2

    4 Apr

Our next FAB Beauty is Autumn, who is also wearing a beautiful natural makeup look. (Check out another one here.) I can’t think of any occasion this look isn’t right for, because again she is simply enhancing her features without the makeup taking over.

Her complexion is on the darker end of the makeup spectrum, which can make finding the perfect foundation difficult due to a lack of range, but she has done it! Her skin looks absolutely flawless, and you can get this FAB look by checking out the products she used after the jump.(Plus more shots of our model!)

FAB, Girl! or Girl, Bye!?: Jessica White

    5 Mar

Jessica White is a model. She’s beautiful. In this photo, she is showing Angie Jolie how a natural but fierce pose is supposed to look.

Jessica is who Tyra Banks used to be before she decided to run off and do that show that teaches young women from middle America to smile with their eyes. (What else is that show supposed to do?)

Anyway, Miss White decided to cover her model assets in this castoff from Mrs. Roper dress. I love flowy things but this could fit the the old AND new members of Destiny’s Child under it. What do you think, FAB ones?

FAB Girl Making History: Leanna Archer

    3 Feb

    Meet Leanna Archer.

At age 13, she made history by being the youngest teen business owner to ring the opening bell for the NASDAQ stock market. At age 9, she started Leanna’s, Inc., a natural hair and body care line of products that rakes in $100,000 a year.

What makes her such a FAB entrepreneur is her willingness to share the wealth.  Kids can become representatives by introducing her products to salons and businesses in their area. They will receive a 10 to 15% profit of the orders that are placed through them. Leanna  is soon to join the ranks of Avon and Mary Kay!

She also does public speaking events and started a non profit to help kids in Haiti have food, education and a safe place to live. She has been featured at BET’s ‘Black Girls Rock’, which showcases FAB Women and Girls who are changing the world for the better. She has appeared on 106 and Park and been profiled in publications such as Forbes and Ebony.
